Wasim Akram has added himself in the list of Three cricketers who wedded foreign ladies.

After marrying Australian Shaniera Thompson, former skipper of Pakistan cricket team and professional commentatorWasim Akram has added himself in the list of cricketers who wedded foreign ladies including and Mohsin Khan, Imran Khan and Shoaib Malik.
Bowling legend Wasim Akram has tied knot with Australian model Shaniera Thompson, however, following criticism from conservative circles of the country.
However, Akram claimed to be fourth in the list as three famous cricket legends married to foreign ladies relating with the fields of Bollywood, Writer and Sportswoman.

Former opening batsman Mohsin Hasan Khan married with Bollywood’s famous actress of her time Reena Rai belonging to India, but the marriage broken up afterwards. He has a daughter with Reena Roy, who now lives with her mother in India. He had named his daughter Jannat, but she is now called Sanam.
Mohsin Hasan Khan is a former Pakistani cricketer who played in 48 Tests and 75 ODIs from 1977 to 1986 mainly as an opening batsman.

Another bowling legend Imran Khan, and philanthropist wedded Jemima on 16 May 1995 in a traditional Islamic ceremony in Paris as she converted to Islam few months before her wedding.
Unfortunately, the marriage also ended on 22 June 2004, it was announced that the Khan had divorced ending the nine-year marriage because it was “difficult for Jemima to adapt to life in Pakistan”.

Khan achieved the all-rounder’s triple (securing 3000 runs and 300 wickets) in 75 Tests, the second fastest record behind Ian Botham’s 72. He is also established as having the second highest all-time batting average of 61.86 for a Test batsman.
