Mansoor Mujahid along with his girl friend Anab Hameed was arrested and taken into custody for interrogation purpose. Mansoor confessed to the crime he was said to be charged with, however did not reveal his girlfriend’s involvement in the murder.

Faisal Nabi Malik went to Mujahid’s apartment 3 days ago and was murdered in between 19-20 of June. The victim was a father to two daughters and a son. He was jobless timely but was a former worker at HSBC and MCB bank. It is said that Faisal and Mujahid became friends through their other friends and not knowing the ground realities they became friends, paying visits to each other homes. The deceased sister had lodged FIR against the murderer and has directed serious interrogation in the matter.

The police sources say that they have completed the investigation and the victim’s body has been recovered. The SHO Kansan Deen said that the body was found to be dumped outside the Sunrise Apartments in Clifton however Faisal was murdered in the apartment of the celebrity which falls on the 3 floor of the building in Zamzama lane.

Talking upon to the friends of the young media science student, it was revealed that Mujahid was addicted to drugs and is a man of bad and loose character. A diary confiscated by the police showed up about his relationships with her girlfriend Anab Hameed who is also alleged to be there at the apartment when the crime took place. Anab always carried pistol with her due to the fragile relations between the two.

Faisal is said to be brutally murdered with being shot twice with head. He was burnt with acid and dumped out of the apartment after his body, throat, and nose being cut with knives brutally.

A case has been registered against the culprits for possessing the unlicensed weapons and they would be presented in the court. However, media men are restricted to interview them which raise doubts if they are trying to be set free from being punished.

Friends, family members of Faisal Nabi have maintained a Facebook page where they are protesting against the barbaric attack and demand justice for the deceased. Up dates regarding the case, evidences are also updated on the social website.

It is pertinent here to mention that a similar case happened last year in which a young man was killed by his friends in the Clifton area. Still Shahzeb murder case remains unsolved. The weak judiciary system and the law order situation and unaccountability are the primary reasons for the frequent happenings of such incidents.

Telecom companies are asked to stop all kind of Voice and SMS bundles, that include daily, weekly, fortnightly and monthly packages by September 2nd, 2013 and submit a compliance report to the authority.

The letter from PTA, a copy of which is produced below, has made the social morality as a reason for the stoppage of voice and SMS bundles. The letter that reads “Directive Relating to Packages Offered by CMTOs Contrary to Moral Values of Society” reasons a survey conducted in November 2012 which suggested PTA that voice and SMS bundles were still active.

Taking the timely decision, PTA has now ordered the operators to stop the packages at once.

Omar Manzoor, Director Communications and CSR at Mobilink confirmed ProPakistani that his company received the directive late today. He said that Mobilink is reviewing the directive and will act accordingly.

Telecom operators are still unsure on how to react. Bigger operators are considerably happy about the directive which is a blessing in disguise for them. Smaller operators, such as Zong and Warid are furious for apparent reasons.

Analysts say currently the industry is derived by these voice and SMS bundles. If not reversed, the whole dynamics of telecom industry of Pakistan will change.

Conspiracy theorist say that PTA has made the case of banning the voice and SMS bundles on moral values, which is likely to be influenced by operators. They say that if operators don’t react on the decision then its apparent that this step is endorsed by the operators.

Other experts even question PTA’s ability to decide the pricing structure this way, especially when there’s no chairman or member at PTA’s head office.

Decision is a nightmare for the end users. The good old days are just gone. Now pay for each call and each SMS.

P.S. There’s no mention of Mobile internet bundles in the directive, which are likely to continue.

QAZVIN, Iran: An Iranian woman was deprived of becoming a city’s council member because she is young and attractive.

According to details, a 27-year-old Nina Siahkali Moradi contested the Qazvin city council elections held on June 14 and clinched 14^th place out of 163 total candidates by receiving an impressive 10,000 votes.

However, a week after the election she came to know that any votes cast for her had been nullified and she had been disqualified from being a council member as the council leader said “We don’t want catwalk models here.”

Moradi had gained enough votes to become an ‘alternative member of the council’ – making her a first reserve, according to the Independent.

It said that when one councillor gave up his seat, Moradi should have been able to step in, but she was banned from doing so.
