Top 10 Pakistani Female Politicians of 2013; Survey

In last decade, female took more interest in Democratic politics of Pakistan and that’s why female politicians count increased. In Musharraf and PPP Governments, couple of Female Politicians grabbed some leading Ministries and Positions in Government. PPP’s Fehmida Mirza was became first woman to hold Speaker of the National Assembly position. Sherry Rehman was awarded Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and later she was appointed as Pakistan’s Ambassador to the US. And Hina Rabbani Khar who got ministry not only Musharraf Government but she was also appointed for Foreign Affairs Ministry.  Few weeks ago, Hina Rabbani named Most Glamorous Politician of the world while Kashmala Tariq got 8th rank. There are more than one dozen examples which showed how Female Politicians participation increased in last few years.

  1. Hina Rabbani Khar (PPP) – Scored 92 Marks
  2. Maryam Nawaz (PML-N) – Scored 88 Marks
  3. Doctor Fahmida Mirza (PPP) – Scored 81 Marks
  4. Marvi Memon (PML-N) – Scored 76 Marks
  5. Ayla Malik (PTI) – Scored 72 Marks
  6. Shazia Mari (PPP) – Scored 69 Marks
  7. Kashmala Tariq (PML-Q) – Scored 66 Marks
  8. Sharmila Farooqi (PPP) – Scored 62 Marks
  9. Khushbakht Shujaat (MQM) – Scored 57 Marks
  10. Bushra Gohar (ANP) – Scored 52 Marks

These are some female leaders who couldn’t get entry in top 10 ranking are as follows
