In last decade, Pakistan is one of fast growing countries for Mobile Phone industry. Smartphone trend also started in Pakistan during Last couple years. Now Sindh Government’s decision to ban instant messaging and voice-over-Internet Protocol (VoIP) clients has shocked local and international media. Skype, Viber, WhatsApp and Tango are useless application for Smartphone users in Sindh.
PPP’s Sindh Government told media that they are doing this due to security reasons. It’s not first time when PPP leadership took such a weird decision, all knows about Mobile Phone Network Blockage during big events.
Now it’s looking that Due to Government’s Incompetence, Smartphone Industry will be decline. Many National and International Brands are focusing towards Smartphone due to several reasons but now people may avoid these sets.
Majority of Smartphone users in Pakistan are using Android Phones. And most of Pakistanis don’t use too much Apps on their sets. Many Pakistanis buy Smartphone due to WhatsApp and Viber but ban on both Apps will also effect on Smartphone Sale.
Mix opinion has been observed in Public. Majority of people are against this decision but some termed this decision as GOOD STEP TO COUNTER TERRORISM.
Government should ban Eating Food so all terrorists will be died, an angry citizen respond on this decision.
